Bea carefully lined up the Cozy Coupe across the middle of the sidewalk, picking a spot at the bottom of the gentle slope.
Then, she trotted back up the sidewalk, climbed on her bike, and started pedaling.
At first, it looked innocent enough: a girl, riding her bike down the sidewalk. As she got closer to the Cozy Coupe and began to pick up speed, I realized something: This was a girl with a mission, and that mission was to crash spectacularly into the car.
The trial run yielded some good data... notice that on her subsequent runs, she removed her feet from the pedals before T-boning the car. Apparently it makes for a less painful impact and a way funner crash.
Bea spent the rest of the evening staging elaborate crashes, giggling more after each one. When I showed her the video later on, she laughed herself silly. "I crash! That funny!"
Ah, my sweet, delicate daughter...
HAHAHAHAHA. I just laughed my own self silly! I love this kid.

I too laughed with Bea. What a wonderful child you are raising.

Ha! That grin is delicious. But I do not envy you a teenage Bea. She is going to PLOT.
